Hi, I’m Jeremy Jay, the creator of Callosum. Throughout my career as a Principal Engineer, Cloud Architect, and former Professor, I’ve worked on everything from large-scale digital transformation projects to academic research in bioinformatics and machine learning. Along the way, I’ve led teams, built cloud-based solutions, and tackled complex challenges in API development and integration.
Callosum started because managing APIs across a dev team is painful. I’ve seen first-hand how fragmented tools and proprietary formats result in confusion, back-and-forth exchanges between teammates, and limited collaboration. I built Callosum to address these pain points—a lightweight, privacy-focused API client that prioritizes open standards, extensibility, and developer empowerment.
I’m passionate about creating tools that make data integration easier and simplify the complexity of developers day-to-day tasks, while staying true to values like simplicity, transparency, and collaboration. Callosum is my way of sharing those principles with the API community.
